My daughter loved it till the MIC Broke

My daughter got this for a present. She likes it. But the MIC broke. The weird thing is the MIC will plug into her Barbie guitar and work. But when it plugs into the stand it does not. So it is not the MIC that is broken it is the female adapter in which the plug goes into that is broke.

The concept is excellent but it doesn’t hold up. My 3 year ancient had fun for a couple days and then the mike broke and it was useless. Don’t waste your money.

This was a wonderful toy for my 7 year ancient granddaughter who likes to sing, but after one day the microphone would not work unless you held the cord into the base, not a fun pose for a budding rock star! I had read that the microphone tie was a problem from another reviewer, but chose to ignore it – wish I hadn’t! I would say DON’T BUY unless the manufacturer assures that the microphone problem has been fixed. Electronic Stage Microphone

Faulty microphone jack

My daughter loved this toy but it broke on the 2nd day of use. A lot of people are reporting the same issue – the microphone jack is faulty. The contacts inside the jack come apart and the plug at the end of the mic cable doesn’t connect.

This is a defect that many people seem to have, so don’t buy this product until they fix this issue!

Fun but junky

My 3 year ancient got this as a Christmas present. It was the one thing she really wanted. She was quite disappointed. The microphone often cuts out or completely doesn’t work. The cord needs jiggling to get it to work again but this doesn’t always do the trick. While it was low-priced, it has been a huge disappointment.

Stand-Up Kid’s Microphone

This has the potential to be a fantastic toy. But, the microphone’s quality is poor. Too much static at times, cuts in and out, and sometimes quits working altogether. Then magically starts to work. We like the floor buttons with the clapping and music.

Bought for Christmas for my kids. The box got torn to shreds so I threw it out. The microphone worked for about 30 minutes and that was it. Poorly made. The wire that connects to the stand does not connect securely.

I was concerned about purchasing this due to negative reviews about the microphone, but my 6 yr ancient daughter likes it and plays with it all of the time. We have had no problem with it and she is not what I would call a gentle child. When carried the stand pops out of base, but easily pops back in.

Both my sons loved this toy…for a week. Then the Mic broke. I have been unable to find a substitution part or find out how to contact the company. Looks like it’s into the garbage with this one.

I bought this for my niece for christmas.She is 5 and she had to have it opened straight away she spent the rest of Christmas day singing for us it was really cute.Then her dad and brother used it for stand up comedy act it was hysterical. Of course it was a hit for a few days then she went on the her other new toys but it’s still around and working, it was really low-priced and she likes this thing. We all had fun with it.

Breaks easily

DO NOT BUY. We’ve bought three of these and all of them have broken within the first week. The tie of the microphone and the speaker malfunctions causing it not to work anymore.

I gave it as a gift a small while ago, so I don’t know if it is durable or not. But from what I hear, the kid who got it is having a blast with it, accompanying himself on the guitar (he’s 3). Apparently it is lots of fun.
